One of Skytech’s best gaming PCs, this model really hits the nail on the head in terms of gaming quality and value for money. If you are looking for a gaming PC that is affordable, but also extremely high performance, then the Skytech Shiva is the choice for you.
An attractive design, the tower looks a lot like the Skytech Archangel, but with a coloured strip on the side and more components inside. It has the same attractive screen-door feature and the same silver finish on the exterior. The product measures 17.6″ x 8.9″ x 18.9″, so it is a decent-sized tower, but not excessively large, and will fit on almost any desk. It also has RGB technology inside, so you can make your gaming PC glow a certain colour of your choice – this is fantastic for creating the perfect setup, which Skytech understands is an important part of choosing the perfect gaming PC.
The hard drive is a reasonable 500 GB, and the tower is equipped with a heat spreader (as well as three RGB fans), so you can be assured that you won’t overheat while using this, even while pushing the machine to its limit.
The Skytech Shiva supports hyper-realistic graphics with its RTX 2060 6GB Nvidia video card and ray-tracing support. It boasts a Ryzen 5 2600 6-Core 3.4GHz processor (which can operate at 3.9 GHz when it is put into Max Boost mode). The graphics/video card is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6, which means that your Skytech PC can operate at an extremely high fps, and support crisp graphics at any time. Real-time ray-tracing technology within the graphics card means that you will easily achieve ultimate frame rate performance – 1080p, HD+ and 4K graphics are a standard. Plus, you will be able to stream as you play, and have a seamless experience uploading to Twitch or YouTube. This is a PC for serious gamers.
As with most gaming PCs, there is always competition in components. Upgrades are needed to accommodate constantly improving software and operating systems. Skytech is completely aware of this, and provides an accessible tower with lots of space inside to house the majority of components. With a see-through door, you can easily determine the workings of the PC, and know which parts you need to replace. There is no animosity with Skytech and part replacement, this is a PC that will last you. Skytech even offers a one-year warranty of parts, combined with free replacement and labour – so if any part of your machine breaks, then you can contact them, and they will sort it.
If you are a novice to the PC gaming world, then not to worry. Skytech offers lifetime technical support to any of their customers, so if you are not sure how to work the PC, or even to set it up, then you have the option to contact them. Even if you are thinking of replacing or upgrading a component, you can contact Skytech for advice on the compatibility.
The package comes with a gaming mouse and keyboard (which also has RGB backlighting, so you can give your keyboard a matching glow). This Amazon’s Choice PC also has the option to buy it with a monitor, so you won’t even need to go out and purchase a screen, or worry if your current screen is compatible. Often, monitors will require extra leads, so this is a very safe and sensible option. Plus, it’s a curved-screen Optix monitor, with a 165Hz refresh rate, so your gaming experience will be further enhanced.
The Skytech Shiva is one of Skytech’s best overall gaming PC choices. It has an attractive design, impressive specs, reasonable price, and comes with a range of technical support and additional components (such as a mouse, monitor, and keyboard), so if you’re new to PC gaming, you’ll have everything you need. But this is no novice PC and has the performance and ability to impress even the most experienced gamers, as well as the capacity to accommodate new parts, and the performance to keep up with any gaming or streaming experience.
