Almost every Skytech Archangel Review on Amazon is positive, demonstrating why yet another Skytech gaming PC is on Amazon’s Choice list. Skytech’s hand-built PCs come straight from the USA and assure optimal gaming performance with each model they build. They also make a range of PCs, so it’s important to find the one that best suits you – mainly for the specs and price range.

This particular Skytech gaming PC is the Archangel, which is a good example of an affordable option. Gaming PCs are notorious for being extremely expensive (and often unreasonably so), flaunting excessive features or specifications that you may never use. However, with this PC, you can be assured that you are getting your money’s worth from a trusted company.

Introducing the Skytech Archangel

The Skytech Archangel costs $999 (£777) and is available on Amazon – this is a very reasonable price for such an advanced piece of tech. It features the newest GTX graphics technology from Nvidia and is powered by AMD’s Ryzen 5 3600 six-core processor. This means that crisp 1080p full HD gameplay is a given, as well as 60 fps (this PC currently comes with a GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6GB GDDR6 Graphics Card). Anyone who games will know the difference that 60 fps makes to a game, and on higher settings on certain games this PC can even reach 70 to 80 fps – meaning that you can enjoy any game of your choice in the best graphics possible.

The tower itself measures 17.90” x 8.30” x 16.40” and is spacious inside. This means that if you are interested in tampering with or upgrading your computer then you have the space to do so. While this PC is perfectly sufficient, and runs extremely well as it is, often gamers will like to upgrade and adjust their PC to their own requirements. There is space for almost any graphics card in this machine, and with a stylish screen door on the side of the PC as well as lights, you’ll be able to see exactly where everything goes, and install new components easily.

Often an issue with such high-performance machines is overheating. With the CPUs on gaming PCs running at such high speeds, fans are a necessity, which quite often models will neglect. The Archangel boasts five fans – this is three RGB ring fans for maximum airflow, combined with two smaller fans, one for the exhaust and one specifically for the CPU. Overall this is an extremely cool PC, overheating will not be a problem here, even when you upgrade or change the parts.

Skytech also maintains excellent customer service here, and upon purchase offers a one-year warranty on parts and labour, as well as free lifetime technical support. Therefore, you don’t need to worry about not being able to set up or use your PC, Skytech will support you all the way. In case of faulty parts, you will not need to worry about replacing them, Skytech will support you here too. This PC also comes with a free mouse and keyboard, so as long as you have a monitor, you can jump straight into using it.

This PC also uses a Windows 10 operating system, so it can be used as a regular computer if needed – a personal PC, not just for gaming.

Cheaper Alternative – The Ryzen 1200

A cheaper alternative (to this already good-value-for-money PC) is the Ryzen 3 1200. This PC is about $250 cheaper than the Archangel, and shows of many of the same specifications.

Despite the lower price, this PC still boasts an incredible fps on many games, some reaching as high as 225 fps. The PC is slightly reduced in its hardware capabilities, and certain slots for certain towers are absent, so check that your existing hardware is compatible, or that you have the means to connect your PC. While the device itself is not as accessible as the Archangel, the low cost of this PC means that you can spend money on other accessories for your gaming experience.
